We’re delighted to announce that Pro tek Interiors has become a sponsor of Finishing and Associated Trades Equity (FATE), the not-for-profit alliance set up to support sub-contractors in the construction finishing industry.
Who are FATE?
FATE was set up after it became clear from messages and posts on social media, that sub-contractors involved in construction finishing were facing a multitude of difficult challenges. These ranged from not being paid to being paid short, and reclaiming their retention. A group of like-minded people decided it was time to create a support network and resource, to help sub-contractors get paid what was rightfully due to them.
Now FATE offers a web platform full of useful information and practical advice to help sub-contractors in the construction finishing arena. It also has a range of resources available including sign-off sheets, invoice templates and so on.
How we’re working with FATE
A large proportion of our sponsorship financing is going towards FATE’s charity, FATE Associated & Supporting Trades (FAST). The charity aims to support members who’ve fallen on hard times, through illness or death, for example, and we’re proud to be associated in this way.
Benefits of joining FATE
We recommend FATE to all construction finishing sub-contractors, as we believe the support and resources on offer are excellent.
Here at Pro tek Interiors, we’re supporting FATE by offering a range of information resources and special rates for our services, allowing you to access the leading fire protection solutions at the best prices. Members can also access a range of other benefits and offers from alliance sponsors and affiliates.
FATE membership costs only £30 per year and includes £15,000 or Personal Accident & Capital Benefits cover (underwritten by Aviva Insurance PLC), access to industry leading Risk Assessments, Method statements & H&S advice from one of the UK’s best advisors and several other key partners.
